Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will receive funds to look for ways to "make fundamental advancements in thermal regulation of electronic systems, from pinky-nail size chips to an entire computer server farm."
The $3.4 million in funds is geared towards identifying cooling methods necessary to extend the life of computers and electronics.
